@AKTION it's truly a shame you discontinued the series. What application do you use now? I tried after effects, mapmap, vpc, and mad mapper. So far the only that works is resolume. My laptop is an RTX 3070ti with 64gigs of memory. I do animation with icons 8 by creating my intros and exits. So far my video Playlist is a little under 2 hours. Mapio would've been cool but they only allow 300 second videos which is crazy. One of my videos is 8.5 minutes as my primary and looped a haunted house video 5 times with resolume lol. I love projection mapping but I would love to create some cool effects like the walls melting or transforming the whole house into a castle.

I am planning to do a voice over tutorial for old videos I will add this too.

Yes you are correct. It's a video file that I would have either created or bought. But it should be easy to make in After Effects. Infact check out a plugin called Saber. That might help you.

Resolume has the option for BPM control from an external source, It depends what software are you using. I have tried Traktor and Ableton Live with it and works quite well. Search Resolume for BPM sync.

Last i checked it cant take sound input but i am sure you can figure out a way.. if not then resolume has that maybe you can make it work somehow.

It doesn't matter, I am using Ableton. which you can use with Serato bridge. I use Native Instrument soundcard but that's it.

sandeep patharkar bridge is free and just allows you to play it better in sync.. Try it out.

Hey thanks!! You can set presets in Resolume allowing you to switch the setup as you have saved it. When you run the preset it will play as you set it.

I would say yes, but also this is where your technical creativity lies. One option make a video file with all the videos and set the playback in resolume to beat match and on random it will skip from one point to another. You should search and watch for more Resolume Sound Effects. There is a lot you can do with that.

you have to select your computer setup as adding another screen rather than mirroring. then your application output will be only sent to the projector.

Hey, Jeremy. Yes you will need something in the middle , but what you need depends upon what exactly are you trying to do. So maybe try using a Hardware Solution. i.e : Midi map your triggers on both softwares? You will have to tell me exactly what are you trying or want to do ?

Yeah. Each video needs to match each song.

Here is my simplest solution for you to do this. (mac based): Combine your audio file to your video file make them one. then simply play it on serato.com/video. Serato supports Syphon , so bring the video in via that and finally map it using resolume. Serato > Syphon > Resolume > Display Output.

No External GC. and Syphon is not a Projection software, rather its an internal video transfer solution. But I use all kinds of software such as Mapio, VVVV, VPT, Resolume and a few others.
